about

By allegorically using as reference the mega works of the Acadian King Sargon thousands of years ago, the track depicts the ruthlessness of Time when it comes to eliminate achievements of great capacity and influence to the human species.

Time proves our weariness is absolute and there is nothing we can do
about it.

Time is beast, it’s not divine; what man creates it does despise.

lyrics

Sargon of Akkad

There was a city named Akkad
Where now is debris, pain and blood
People unite under one’s command
That was the man loved by Ishtar

Fate, castaway, of Akkad’s king Sargon

Time is beast, it is not divine
What man creates, it does despise
Buildings so great like mountains high
Perished, destroyed in command of Time

People, ourselves, like bees return - trying harder
To claim the knowledge previously earned - trying harder
But Time, that beast with heart so cold - trying harder
Swallows our dreams and whips the bold - trying harder

about

The Slayerking

The Slayerking founded in late 2013 in a rehearsal room. They avoided any publicity until they officially set foot in the scene with their 2016 debut Sanatana Dharma.

Music is doom metal with progressive elements.

Sound is heavy but not compressed.

The Slayerking is a troll that thinks of itself as a King but it's only a Slayer who unremorselessly slays any hope morals have about salvation.
